Cartersville, GA – August 21, 2019 – On August 29 at 7 p.m. the Bartow History Museum welcome Louis Tonsmeire Jr. as guest speaker for our evening lecture.  Tonsmeire will take us on a journey through the history of photography, from its earliest days to the digital age.  He will discuss how cameras and photographic processes have changed as well as how photography has molded our history.  “Whether you have an interest in cameras or photography, we invite you to be a part of this evening,” states Trey Gaines, Director of the Bartow History Museum.  The program is free for members and included in the price of admission to the museum for non-members.

About the Speaker

Louis Tonsmeire Hon. Master, Photographic Craftsman, API, GSD.

Louis is a past president of Georgia Professional Photographers Assn. and Professional Photographers of America.  He has owned Tonsmeire Studio for almost 40 years. He lives in Cartersville with his wife Jenny, along with three children, and one daughter in law, three awesome grandchildren, and a new one in November…and of course my dog Niko!
