On Sunday, February 21, 2016 at approximately 7:00pm, Officers with the Adairsville Police Department responded to a . When officers arrived they were advised that Cody McCain, 23 of Atlanta, had arranged to meet an ex girlfriend to return money to her. When she arrived, McCain hit her in the face, causing a visible injury, in front of their child. He then took $2,000 from her wallet and fled on foot. Warrants have been taken for McCain.
