South Erwin Street will be closed from Thoroughbred Lane to Old Mill Road early Monday morning through Wednesday night. The city asks people to please use alternative routes when traveling in this area. Attached is the proposed detour for both traditional and truck traffic. (Detour Link).
This is a stormwater rehab underneath South Erwin Street, replacing two storm lines. The large size of the lines is why it’s going to take a couple of days. In the past, there has been some high water in that area within the Erwin Downs subdivision. This rehab is designed to alleviate some of the stormwater issues upstream.
