Emergency responders were called to a fatal accident at 1:03 a.m. on Friday, July 10th. According to preliminary reports from the Georgia State Patrol, a Trooper and a Trooper Cadet in field training responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Timberlake Cove in Bartow County. The initial investigation revealed that a Toyota Landcruiser was traveling east on Highway 20 attempting to negotiate a curve. The driver of the vehicle failed to maintain a single lane by traveling off the south shoulder of the roadway striking a ditch. Following impact, the Toyota Landcruiser continued east before striking a guardrail end with its left front. This impact caused the vehicle to rotate counterclockwise and overturn onto its passenger side. The vehicle overturned multiple times, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver, 55-year-old Angela Brumlow of White succumbed to her injuries on scene.
