A pedestrian riding a bicycle on highway 41 near the hospital Saturday was struck by a vehicle. EMS crews arrived on scene and found a male in his late 20’s to early 30’s unconscious and not breathing. The victim suffered severe head trauma; he was dead on the scene. His identity has not been released. No information has been released about the vehicle or its driver. The accident occurred around 11 and closed the Northbound side of the highway for a while.
