A parade is planned for this Thursday, December 15th at 4:15 p.m. for the Purple Hurricanes. The football team won their second consecutive state championship Saturday at the Georgia Dome. The parade will assemble at the end of Main Street and will continue until it turns left onto Gilmer Street. Both middle school and high school football players are participating in the parade along with the Cartersville High School band and Cheerleaders. Darrell Demastus everyone arrive around 4:00 p.m. since the parade is expected to last until 4:45 p.m.
