A home was destroyed by fire on one of the coldest nights of the year. According to
Bartow Fire and Emergency Services, crews were dispatched to 13 Colony Court NW, at approximately 9:10 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2026. Crews arrived on the scene to find a split-level wood frame structure with heavy fire showing. The cause of the fire is under investigation. One
injury was reported, that individual was treated and released by EMS personnel on
scene. The home received major damage.
