Bartow 911 received a call from a subject stating there were two bombs inside Walmart on 101 Market Place Boulevard near Cartersville at around 2:54 Saturday afternoon.
Walmart and the surrounding businesses evacuated their customers.
The Walmart store manager requested to have explosive ordinance disposal K9s clear the business. The BCSO did not have an available EOD K9 available.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Woodstock Police Department arrived with EOD K9s, cleared Walmart’s exterior and interior, and found no explosives.
