March 31, 2015 – The City of Cartersville recently changed companies for mass communication messaging. The new company, Everbridge, offers much more extensive services for a much lower cost. The Everbridge system will allow residents and business owners the opportunity to sign-up and indicate their preferred form of communication; i.e. text, phone, email. Also, when signing-up on the site, it gives one the opportunity to request additional information that may be sent out, from Parks & Recreation, to downtown events and more. Just go to www.cityofcartersville.org and click on the “Everbridge” link in the left hand column. The site will walk you through the steps from there.
The City of Cartersville strives to keep the community updated as much as possible, therefore we encourage everyone to please sign-up for the new messaging system. The Everbridge communication system will not release any personal information to any other company.
