New Frontier of Bartow County presents the 19th Annual Feed the Community Dinner, In Honor of Michael Dean, set for Saturday, November 23rd at the Cartersville Civic Center, located at 435 West Main Street. Food will be served from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. The menu will feature a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and other services provided include health screenings, free clothing, toys, and haircuts. Everyone in the community is invited to sign up as a volunteer or to come and simply enjoy dinner and great company. Please contact William Solomon at (404) 625-3880 if interested in volunteering. Volunteer opportunities include serving
of the food, helping with the clothes closet, parking lot attendants, and clean up. This is a great opportunity for high school students in need of volunteer service hours. Free transportation is being provided by Bartow Transit to and from the event. To schedule a pickup, call (770) 387-5165, between the hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, prior to the event. Over the years we have consistently served over 2,000 people. Donations are being accepted to help us accomplish this goal once again. Companies and individuals wishing to donate can make a contribution online through our website, thenewfrontierinc.org. Donations of clothes, toys, children’s books, and other necessities are also being accepted. A donation drop-off appointment can be set by calling (404) 201-5579.
