About an hour later, another car got entrapped underneath a tractor trailer. This one occurred on Joe Frank Harris Parkway at the Red Top Mountain Road Connector. A second vehicle struck the tractor trailer as first responders were being summoned to the scene. The Bartow County Fire Department extricated a male and Bartow County EMS worked on him and took him to Kennestone Hospital.

WBHF’s Alan Sanders has reported that an accident involving a tractor trailer and a car took place on I-75 near mile marker 282.

Bartow County is currently under a wind advisory until seven o’clock Tuesday morning. A wind advisory means that winds of 35 miles-per-hour are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

On top of that, Bartow County is expected to absorb heavy rain after eleven o’clock Monday night. The roads will be extremely slick due to oil buildup on the roadways. Please help out the first responders as well as yourself: slow down and use caution on the slick roads.
