Careless driving sent a motorcyclist to a hospital after an incident south of Adairsville late Saturday morning.
Two Harley-Davidson motorcycles were traveling south on I-75 in the middle lane near mile marker 305.
Multiple witnesses stated that a white midsize SUV cut the motorcycles off.
The riders swerved to the left lane to avoid a collision with the SUV.
One motorcyclist struck the rear of the other motorcycle and was thrown off and landed in the roadway.
Other drivers were trying to avoid running over him, and another crash happened. We have not received any information on the secondary accident.
An air ambulance transported the injured motorcyclist to Kennestone Hospital.
The white SUV did not stop and continued southbound.
