Yesterday in softball, Woodland forced a decisive Game 3 today against Paulding County after it lost its first game 12-5. The Lady Cats won Game 2 by a score of 11-3. Should the Lady Cats win their game tonight at 5 PM, they would move on to play in the state tournament. The Excel softball team picked up a win, as it beat Darlington by a score of 6-1 and will wrap up regular season play on Monday.

Today in softball, Woodland will host Paulding County at 5 PM.

Today high school football returns to Bartow County with two local schools in action and both games starting at 7:30. Woodland will travel to Hiram and Cartersville will host Central Carroll.
