A Kingston man was removed from the water at the Hardin Bridge Boat Launch on Friday afternoon. According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was advised by fire personnel that a male was in the river without a vest and was believed to be under the influence. The male, who was identified as 57-year-old Raymond Millwood, had also been heard screaming and making statements about hurting himself. He was in the river with a 50-gallon plastic barrel tied to his waist. After getting him onto the shore, Millwood advised that he was drunk and wanted to float down the river and admitted to arguing with firefighters. He was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Bartow County Jail.
