On June 24 at approximately 4:35 p.m., a 2000 Honda STI motorcycle and a 2002 Toyota Camry Solara were traveling south on Interstate 75 near mile marker 304. The driver of the motorcycle was ejected from the motorcycle. The Specialized Collison Reconstruction Team (SCRT) is investigating the cause of the crash at this time. Charges are pending the completion of the investigation.
The driver of the motorcycle, Gene E. McCall, age 76 from Murfreesboro, TN was fatally injured in the crash. The driver of the Camry, Ingrid C. Zito, age 56 from White, was not injured.
