Jacob Clifford Scarborough

Bond has not been set for a young man charged with harassing a Cass High School student.  Eighteen-year-old Jacob Clifford Scarborough of Hartwell, Georgia was booked into the Bartow County Jail Tuesday afternoon. Scarborough was charged with harassing phone communications, first-degree cruelty to children, and terroristic threats and acts.  Three students were expelled following an altercation at the school stemming from the current political climate.  Scarborough is accused of sending several messages to a student through Snapchat and Instagram “threatening to cause harm to the juvenile upon her returning to school, harming African Americans and other derogatory racial slurs.
