At approximately 9:48 P.M. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Cartersville Police
Department responded to the report of gunshots in the area of Lee and Walker
Streets, Cartersville, Georgia. Arriving Officers located spent shell casings from
different caliber firearms but did not locate anyone shot. Shortly thereafter, a
gunshot victim arrived via private transportation at Piedmont Cartersville Medical
Center. It has been determined the gunshot victim had been shot on Lee Street.
