WHAT:          As part of its integrated roadside vegetation management program, Georgia DOT Maintenance crews resume today their work on trimming overgrown vegetation along State Route (SR)  140 in Bartow County, SR 151 in Catoosa County, SR 48 in Chattooga County, and SR 515 in Fannin County.   Work will proceed daily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., weather    permitting.

Integrated roadside vegetation management is a method to bring together social and cultural elements, biological concerns, and mechanical treatments to economically manage roadsides for           motorist safety, environmental health and visual quality.

 WHEN:         Monday, January 26 through Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
