ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruitment and open house to hire 100 employees for the new Papa John’s food service distribution center in Acworth.
The recruitment will be held on Wednesday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Papa John’s Quality Control Center located at 1389 Highway 92 in Acworth. GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants.
The employer is recruiting delivery specialists, distribution team members, industrial automation technicians, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators, transportation supervisors and yard switchers.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is required for the distribution team members, industrial automation technicians, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators and the transportation supervisors.
Experience varies on each position. Delivery specialist, distribution team members, industrial maintenance supervisors, production operators, transportation supervisors and yard switchers are all required to have at least two years of related experience. The industrial automation technicians are required to have at least three years of related experience.
Salaries depend on the position and experience.
