ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cedartown Career Center  will host a recruiting event to help North Georgia Staffing hire about 50 workers for several companies with manufacturing plants in Polk and Floyd counties.

The staffing company is recruiting quality control inspectors, along with standup forklift and stamping operators and robot welders. The recruitment will be held Wednesday, June 17, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s career center, 262 North Park Blvd., in Cedartown.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, and at least six months experience working at their trade in a manufacturing environment.
