A recruitment will be held next week for more than 50 full-time associates to work at a new Goodwill store set to open in December in Calhoun.
The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Goodwill Industries of North Georgia recruit workers Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Thursday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rock Bridge Community Church located at 100 Peters St. in Calhoun.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and at least six months previous work experience.
The company will conduct a drug-screening test and background check.
Prior to attending the recruitment, job seekers are encouraged to apply online at GoodwillNG.org under the ‘Find A Career’ tab and use requisition number 5416 to fill out the application.
Attendees will need to bring some form of identification to the event, including a state-issued driver’s license, identification card, U.S. Social Security card or passport. Interviews will be held onsite.
