ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a series of recruiting events this month in Marietta for A Hand to Hold, an in-home-care service provider.
The recruitments will be held at the Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) Cobb-Cherokee Career Center located at 465 Big Shanty Road. The first event will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., followed by two other events a week apart. The second event is set for Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 1-3 p.m., followed by another on Tuesday, Dec. 20, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The company is recruiting a number of workers for three positions: licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and transportation/companions/homemakers.
All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED), a driver’s license and at least one year of experience in the job for which they’re applying. Applicants who apply for the LPN and CNA positions are required to have proof of certification.
Salaries will be discussed with the applicants at the time of the interview.
Veterans will be given preference for the positions and must have proof of military service.
