While no arrests have been made, state law enforcement officials have launched an investigation into the death of a Cartersville newborn. According to a statement from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, the GBI Calhoun Office was requested to conduct a death investigation of a one-month-old in Cartersville, GA. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow, May 3rd. The investigation is active and ongoing.
