An early morning accident caused traffic problems and minor injuries Wednesday.  According to reports with the Georgia State Patrol, a black Nissan Murano was traveling north on Highway 113, just north of Highway 61, in the right lane, attempting to change to the left lane. Meanwhile,  a black Nissan Altima was traveling north on Highway 113 in the left lane. The driver of Murano made an improper lane change and struck the right front side of the Altima with its left rear side. This impact caused Nissan to overturn to the left and reach an uncontrolled final rest.  Driver statements and vehicle damage determined the area of impact.

EMS transported the driver of the Altima to Floyd Medical Center for suspected minor injuries.
