According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, at approximately 1245 hours, Bartow County Deputies and Investigators responded to Allatoona Landing Marine & Resort located on 24 Allatoona Road SE
in Cartersville in reference to a possible drowning. The incident was reported to the Bartow County Emergency 911 by an individual who witnessed the Victim floating in nearby shallow water wearing shorts and a life jacket. The victim has been identified as a 24 year old white male but his name is not being released at this time pending relative notification. No foul play is suspected at this time.
