Cartersville High School Future Business Leaders of America launches community shoe drive to support global micro entrepreneurs.
Cartersville High School FBLA is proud to announce the launch of its community wide shoe drive fundraiser, partnering with Funds2Orgs to collect gently worn, used, and new shoes. The fundraiser will run from November 3rd to December 15th, with a goal of collecting 100+ bags, totaling more than 2,500 pairs of shoes.
Each donated pair will help support micro entrepreneurs in developing nations who resell shoes to create sustainable income for their families. Locally, this effort helps reduce waste by keeping shoes out of landfills.
Easy Ways to Participate
The community can get involved in several convenient ways:

Any size, any style if they are clean and wearable.

Ask Your Family & Friends
Most people have an extra pair they never wear — one quick ask can make a significant difference.
Drop Off During School Hours
Just bring your shoes to the designated collection bin. It takes less than a minute.
Collection Boxes
Locations are as follows: Sam Jones Methodist Church, Cartersville First Baptist Church, Atco Baptist Church, Saint Francis of Assisi, Tabernacle Baptist Church, and Macedonia Baptist Church. Volunteers check these locations regularly.
