Area motorists are being advised to avoid Etowah Drive. Apparently, a child riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle on Etowah Drive. According to scanner traffic, this occurred between The Waterford Subdivision and the back entrance to Dellinger Park. The child is conscious and alert, air ambulance is on standby.
