Over 120 employees will be laid off following the closing of Chemical Products Corporation’s Cartersville Plant.
Chemical Products Corporation has released the following notice:
“Please be advised that on or around June 22, 2024, Chemical Products Corporation (“CPC”) will permanently close its plant located at 102 Old Mill Road, Cartersville GA 30120. This notice is being provided pursuant to the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN Act).
Consistent with these plans, the last day of employment for most affected employees is anticipated to be June 22, 2024. Bumping rights do not exist. All affected employees have been notified. The number of affected employees is anticipated to be 121.”
