GDOT will be closing the bridge to through traffic from approximately 7:00 PM Friday evening, April 21, through 7:00 AM Monday morning, April 24 as they work to add roundabouts to the entry-exit ramps at this busy intersection. Motorists are advised to take caution as they enter the construction area and are asked to use available detours to navigate the area.
There will be additional weekends when the bridge is to be closed prior to completion of the project which is expected sometime in 2024. Notices of these closures will be posted in advance.
