During the Business Session, the Board approved Ernie Morris Enterprises, Inc., Bushnell FL, for the purchase of furniture for the Board of Education Lobby and Boardroom, at a total cost of $29,012.52, to be paid from SPLOST.  This comes from The Interlocal Purchasing System Contract (TIPS).

 

The Board also approved Ernie Morris Enterprises, Inc., Bushnell FL, for the purchase of furniture for Cartersville Elementary School, at a total cost of $7,800.79, to be paid from SPLOST.  This comes from The Interlocal Purchasing System Contract (TIPS).

 

The Board approved a recommendation for the Parrish Construction Group, Alpharetta, Georgia, in the amount of $18,700,000 for the CHS Phase II Project.

 

The Board approved NFP to be our Benefits Broker recommended by the Benefits Committee.

Under Consent, several surplus items were approved along with a rental request from Conti Orthodontics to use the CMS grounds for parking for their fundraising event on July 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The 2nd public meeting for the Consolidated Budget FY22 was held.

-The Board approved the FY 2022 Consolidated Budget in the amount of $125,758,378.

-The Board approved to waive Policy DJED Bids and Quotations (not able to get sealed bids) and approve Geohydro Engineers for the material testing for CHS Phase II in the amount of $89,274.40.

The Board approved the Personnel Committee recommendation of the Professional Qualifications beginning 2021-2022.
