CARTERSVILLE, GA – From the Georgia State Senate: Sen. Bruce Thompson (R – White) welcomed Dr. Jacob T. King, Senior Pastor of The Church at Liberty Square, in Cartersville, Ga., to serve as Chaplain of the Day on Monday, January 22, 2018, in the Georgia State Senate.

“It is such an honor to have brought Dr. King here to the Georgia Senate,” said Sen. Thompson. “Dr. King is such a passionate and effective communicator of God’s word. His ability to deliver down-to-earth messages leaves such a remarkable impact on the lives he encounters.”

Dr. King holds degrees from Lee University and the Luther Rice Seminary. He is an ordained minister by the Church of God. Dr. King has been the Senior Pastor at The Church of Liberty Square since December 2015. He is married to his wife, Jennifer, and they have two sons, Joshua and Noah.
