On February 4th 2021 Investigators with the Cartersville Police Department arrested a 20-year-old Cartersville man, Bailey Lusk, for intentionally setting two house fires in town. A joint investigation between Cartersville Fire Department and Cartersville Police Department revealed Mr. Lusk as a suspect in setting house fires on Montgomery Street and North Gilmer Street for an estimated combined loss of almost $200,000 dollars. Mr. Lusk was also arrested last year for two arson cases involving a motor vehicle and personal property.
