Cartersville Board of Education Called Meeting Highlights

Cartersville Board of Education met for a Called Board Meeting on December 18, 2018 to discuss Personnel Recommendations.
The Board approved the following Certified Employee pending criminal background check:
– Elicia Godwin, Teacher, Cartersville High School, effective January 7, 2019.
The Board also approved the following Classified Employee pending criminal background check:
– Jessica Harrell, Nurse, Cartersville Elementary School, effective January 7, 2019.
The Board approved to amend the agenda to discuss security cameras at Cartersville Middle School. They approved the purchase of cameras from Priority One in the amount of $54,800.00 for CMS using the previous high school bid from May 2018.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Cartersville School Board is Monday, January 14, 2019.
