The Cass Colonels (6-3, 1-3) fell to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets (6-2, 3-1) on Friday night by a score of 44-14.

Calhoun recovered its first three kickoffs against the Colonels and had a 17-0 lead after one quarter and a 44-0 lead at the half.

Devin Henderson had a 17-yard, third-quarter touchdown pass to Jayden Avalos to put the Colonels on the scoreboard. Josh Varnum added a 27-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter.

Cass will play Blessed Trinity next Friday night at 7:30.
