Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services Responds

1/24/2025 – At approximately 6:44 p.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 27 Etowah Lane S.W., Cartersville to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that the house was on fire. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a two-story single-family home with smoke showing. Once crews were able to extinguish the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The home received major damage, there were no injuries reported.

1/25/2025 – At approximately 8:46 a.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 58 Kingston Highway N.W., Cartersville to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that the neighbor’s chimney was on fire. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a single-story single-family home with smoke showing. Crews were able to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was deemed accidental. The home received moderate damage, there were no injuries reported.

1/26/2025 – At approximately 9:06 a.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 1834 Joe Frank Harris Parkway S.E., Carterville to a report of a commercial structure fire. The caller advised that active flames were visible from the roof. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a two-car portable garage, fully involved. Once crews were able to extinguish the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire was deemed accidental. The structure was a total loss, there were no injuries reported.

1/27/2025 – At approximately 12:11 a.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 3225 Joe Frank Harris Parkway N.W., Cartersville to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that the house was on fire. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a single-story single-family home, fully involved. Crews were able to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was deemed accidental. The home was a total loss, there were no injuries reported.
