The Adairsville Tigers (4-1, 2-0) continued their dominance in region play with a 49-10 win over the Ringgold Tigers on Friday night.

Chris Roper had three touchdown runs to pace Adairsville in the contest. Roper’s three touchdowns all occurred in the first half and only an Arthur Leffler 33-yard field goal for Adairsville. Ringgold was able to kick a field goal, but its defense was no match for Adairsville in the first half.

Ethan Blome may have had the most explosive play in the first half as he scored on a 94-yard touchdown run with 78 seconds left in the second quarter to give Adairsville a 28-3 lead.

In the second half Jonathan Gough threw two, short touchdown passes to Grayson Belcher to put the game away and put Adairsville in the driver’s seat in route to a possible region title.

Adairsville will hit the road next week as it travels to LaFayette for a 7:30 PM kickoff.
