Cartersville, GA- The Arrest of 60 plus young adults in Cartersville(Bartow County), GA has captured the attention of our city, county, and even our country. With so much attention given to what has become known as #Cartersville70, the facts sometimes get lost in the storyline. However, we are glad to report that very productive meetings between NAACP, elected officials, and police officials have taken place over the last several days to work diligently to see that justice prevails for all. From our meetings and conversations, it is our hope that all parties in the matter of #Cartersville70 will know their fate sooner than much later. We have been assured that the necessary process will be equitable and expediate, so we are expecting nothing less.
Should any member of the group known as #Cartersville70 desire or need legal counsel, contact Gerald Griggs at (404) 633-6590.
