6/11/2023 – At approximately 2:14 p.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 4533 Ward Circle S.E. Acworth to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that smoke was coming from the house next door. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find a mobile home with smoke showing. Once crews were able to extinguish the fire, a fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire was deemed accidental. The home received minor damage. There were no injuries reported.
6/12/2023 – At approximately 1:10 a.m. Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services were dispatched to 32 Carnes Road S.W. Cartersville to a report of a residential structure fire. The caller advised that their outbuilding was on fire. BCFES crews arrived on scene to find an outbuilding fully involved with fire impinging on a nearby mobile home. Crews were able to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The outbuilding was a total loss with the mobile home receiving extensive damage. One subject received minor burns.
