9/3/2026 – At approximately 6:08 p.m., Bartow County Fire & Emergency Services
were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire located at 334 Amberidge
Drive SE in Cartersville. Upon arrival, firefighters observed heavy smoke coming from
a one-story single-family residence.

Crews quickly initiated fire suppression efforts. Once the fire was brought under
control, personnel remained on scene to perform overhaul operations and check for
any hidden fire extension. The residence sustained moderate fire, smoke, and water
damage. One occupant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
Fire investigators were requested to the scene to determine the origin and cause of
the fire. At this time, the cause remains under investigation.
