Bartow emergency crews called to a home for a possible drowning.

BCEMS responded to a possible accidental drowning Monday night.  Crews arrived on the scene around 11:00pm and found a 69-year-old male in a bath tub.  He didn’t have a pulse and was not breathing. BCEMS paramedics began Advanced Life Support protocols and continued treatment.  Bartow County Fire Department personnel drove the ambulance to Cartersville Medical Center allowing both medics to remain in the back of the unit for continued treatment.  CMC nurses and doctors continued to work with the patient.  The patient’s condition at the time of the press release was unknown.
