A couple charged with the 2014 beating death of 1 year old Journey Cowart have been indicted by the September term of the Bartow County Grand Jury; this means the case will likely go to trial.  The District Attorney’s office issued this press release earlier today:

1. State vs. Brandy Ann Boyd   True Billed on Counts 1 through 20 and 22.

And

Austin Levi Payne  True Billed on All Counts.

Cts.    1  through    4 —  Malice Murder

Cts.    5  through  10 —  Felony Murder

Cts.  11  through  13 –  Cruelty to Children in the First Degree

               Cts.  14  through  16 –  Aggravated Battery

               Cts.  17  through  21 —  Cruelty to Children in the First Degree
