The Bartow County Fire Department was busy on Tuesday.
Three stations were dispatched Tuesday to a barn fire at 92 Alford Road in Euharlee around 6 PM. The barn which was filled with hay was a total loss.
The fire department also responded to a car fire at 72 Hamilton Crossing Road on Tuesday. A parked car caught fire, which then spread to two other cars. One vehicle was labeled a total loss, while the other vehicles sustained about $1,000 worth of damage.
Finally, the Bartow County Fire Department responded to a woods fire Tuesday night. Early signs indicate that the fire may have been started from a cigarette thrown from a vehicle on Pleasant Valley Road. About one-quarter of an acre burned and it took the department about 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Remember that Bartow County is under a burn ban, meaning there is no burning of any kind allowed.
