Cartersville Baseball Game Moved to Lakepoint at 6:30

With rain continuing throughout most of the day, the Cartersville vs. Lambert baseball game today has been moved to LakePoint in Emerson. First pitch has been moved to 6:30. LakePoint features artificial turf and a drainage system that allows for games to be played on rainy days like today.

Winning Powerball ticket worth $1M sold in Cartersville

ATLANTA – A winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Cartersville. Texaco Food Mart, located at 1401 West Ave., sold a ticket that matched the first five winning numbers from the Feb. 20 drawing. Woodland and Cass Wrestlers Earn State Championships

Woodland Freshman, Kyle Gollhoffer won the state wrestling championship in the 106 pound class and Logan Sims earned his 3rd state championship in the 132 pound class.
