Archery Deer Hunt for Disabled Sportsmen at Allatoona Lake Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – The Allatoona Lake Operations Project Management Office announced today that an archery-only deer hunt for disabled sportsmen will take place December 9-10, 2023.

 

The use of each hunting blind will be by reservation only and will be limited to hunters permanently confined to a wheelchair or Purple Heart recipients.  A non-hunting assistant may accompany each disabled hunter.  Each hunter must possess a valid Georgia Big Game license. All federal and state hunting laws and regulations will also apply.

 

Requests for reservations will be taken by phone Monday through Friday beginning 8:00 am October 2, 2023 until 12:00 pm on November 3, 2023 or all spots are full.  The available spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
