Low Income Home Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)
November 1, 2021, at 8:30 a.m., Tallatoona CAP will begin scheduling appointments for the LIHWAP Water Assistance Program. During the months of November and December, only households with disconnected service or a past due account balance may schedule an appointment.
Beginning January 3, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., households with a past due account balance, disconnected service, household members 60 years of age or older, or households with children 5 years of age and under can begin scheduling appointments.
Beginning February 1, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., the general public may begin scheduling appointments. To receive assistance applicants must qualify based on the FY2022 annual income guidelines. To schedule a Water assistance appointment please call the appointments line at 770-817-4666 or 770-773-7730 (706 area codes), and select option 2. Water assistance appointments will not be available online. Tallatoona serves Bartow, Cobb, Douglas, Floyd, Gordon. Haralson, Paulding, and Polk Counties.
