Bartow County Coroner, Joel Guyton says 49-year-old Billy Joe Dover died in the crash. Around 7:04 p.m., a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were traveling east on Highway 140. The motorcycle was approaching the Tacoma from behind. The Tacoma driver attempted to pull into a private drive too fast and lost control of his vehicle. The Tacoma traveled back into the roadway and entered the motorcycle’s lane of travel. The motorcycle struck the rear of the Tacoma with the front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle operator, Billy Joe Dover was fatally injured. The passenger on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries. The driver of the Tacoma was a 16 year-old juvenile, was not injured.
