An Alabama man died in a motorcycle accident in Bartow County Saturday, August, 29, 2026. According to preliminary reports from the Georgia State Patrol, Troopers responded a motorcycle crash in the area of Kelli Clark Court and GA 293 at 12:23 p.m. The investigation revealed that Harley Davidson rider, Joseph Willingham, age 33, of Moody, AL, was traveling north on GA 293 attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve. Willingham lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the right edge of the roadway, causing him to be thrown off. The motorcycle continued off the roadway and struck a tree and a metal fence post. Willingham sustained life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
