The Adairsville baseball team was swept by Pace Academy at home on Friday by 17-1 and 4-0 to fall out of the GHSA 3-A Playoffs. The Tigers earned the No. 2 seed out of region six, but could not keep up with the high-powered Knight offense in the opening round.
Adairsville finishes its successful 2018 campaign with a 20-10 record.
