The Adairsville Tigers dropped to 2-6 (0-3) after a trip to Bremen to take on the Breman Blue Devils.

Breman Quarterback Wade Cartwright scored on a 2-yard run to give the Blue Devils an early 7-0 lead over the Tigers with 6:17 to go in the first quarter.

Kyle Bailey followed that up with a 4-yard TD run of his own and Bremen stretched its lead to 14-0 over Adairsville with 2:35 to go in quarter one.

Adairsville got on the board when Roger Redd hit Chad Lowry for a 42-yard TD to cut into the Bremen lead 14-7 with 1:55 left in the first quarter.

A Wade Cartwright touchdown pass and a Kyle Bailey touchdown run 28-yard run put Adairsville behind 28-7 with 8:14 to go in the first half.

The Blue Devil running back Bailey scored again on a 65-yard run to give Bremen a 35-7 lead over Adairsville with 6:22 to go in the second quarter.

Adairsville would not go quietly as Roger Redd hit Ethan Belcher for an 82-yard TD to makes the score 35-14 Bremen with 1:32 left in the second quarter.

After a scoreless third quarter, Redd found Tavon Branch for an 80-yard touchdown pass Adairsville then trailed 35-21 with 11:39 left in the fourth quarter.

Bremen answered with another rushing touchdown extended the lead to  42-21 with 8:30 to go in the fourth quarter.

A 32-yard field goal by Adairsville kicker Josh Honea pushed the score to 42-24 Bremen with 6:40 to go in the fourth quarter.

Bremen ended the scoring on the night with a Noah Rutledge 2-yard touchdown run that extended the lead to 49-24.

Adairsville will finish the 2016 season at home against Haralson County next Friday, October 28th.
