Bartow County Fire crews spent more than two hours battling a fire in Adairsville Friday. According to reports, crews responded to 308 Pleasant Valley Road around 2 p.m. and remained on scene until 4:30. Upon arrival, crews found the two-story wooden structure fully involved. The fire spread from the home into a wooded area endangering an adjacent structure. There were no injuries and the cause remains under investigation. According to county records, the home valued at $107,000 is considered a total loss.
